Loved that this course included both observations and a final assessment; it gave my 16-year-old real benchmarks. Thorough treatment of astronomy topics from basic to advanced.

Strong course content and a clear 16-week progression. I deducted one star because sometimes the 50-minute lesson felt tight for both activities and calculations.

The course covers an impressive range—planets, small bodies, dark matter—but my child wished for more frequent lessons to practice calculations. Helpful curriculum with room for improvement.

Highly recommended for motivated teens — the discussion-centered classes encourage critical thinking about Homer, Dante, and Shakespeare, and the occasional videos add helpful background. The 50-minute weekly meetings over the semester felt well paced.
