Excellent program for kindergarteners—my 7-year-old looks forward to the games and hands-on projects every week. The balance of math-focused, reading/phonics, and alternating social studies/science keeps things fresh across the 36 weeks. Lessons are a good length at 45 minutes and the structure helps with classroom participation and basic problem solving.

We enrolled our 5-year-old in the year-long class and have seen her confidence grow during the calendar routines and group activities. The periodic reviews and teacher-led instruction make the reading and number sense lessons feel well supported.

As a parent of a 6-year-old, I appreciated how this 7-week unit reinforced phonics-based reading, spelling, and basic grammar while also covering addition/subtraction, place value, time, and money. The mix of life science topics like seeds, life cycles and insects with map skills and introductory civics kept lessons interesting, and four 55-minute sessions per week felt like the right pace—challenging but manageable. Overall it was a well-rounded first-grade review that helped build confidence across subjects.

The consistent three-day routine—math, phonics, and alternating science/social studies—has been perfect for my 6-year-old and the 45-minute lessons feel just right.
