This was a great short course for a teen wanting to try watercolor — engaging lessons, helpful demos, and the instructor checked in on goals which kept my child focused and excited.

Excellent structure: warm-ups, demonstrations, and color theory all woven into two clear projects. The instructor's encouragement of creative color choices really brought out my child's personality in their paintings.

This class was just right for my 8-year-old — three lessons in one week felt like a nice balance between practice and low pressure. He enjoyed experimenting with activating watercolors and making flowers and leaves, and by the end had completed a lovely loose bouquet project. The focus on simple techniques and color mixing kept it fun and age-appropriate.

We liked the focus on potted plants and flowers and the creative color prompts, though the two-week length made things feel a bit rushed for deeper practice.
