Helpful class that taught solid study skills and prioritization tools, and my child responded well to the practical exercises; however, I wish there were an option for more than one lesson per week or slightly longer than 40 minutes to dive deeper into some topics.

Unit 6 covered a good range of first-grade skills without feeling scattered. The subtraction fluency work and word problems were practical, and the paragraph writing plus spelling lists strengthened my 7-year-old's writing. Twice-weekly 50-minute lessons across nine weeks struck a nice balance between review and new practice.

As a parent I appreciated how the course addressed reading and test-structure strategies that apply across subjects and standardized tests. The lessons blended discussion-based activities with applied practice, and after six weeks my teen was more confident planning study time and taking better notes.

This course covered useful topics like note-taking, SMART goal-setting, and time management in ways my child could actually use. The one-lesson-per-week format kept things steady without overload. We liked the emphasis on learning styles and prioritization tools.
