Overall very positive: the course's focus on communication, organization, and self-advocacy was spot on for my 17-year-old preparing for college. The format—five 55-minute lessons in one week—delivered a lot of material in a short time, which meant solid content but limited time to practice everything. We would have liked a slightly longer course or a follow-up session to reinforce the strategies. Still, valuable and well-structured for busy teens.

This course covered exactly what we were hoping for: communication, executive-function strategies, and proactive problem solving. My 18-year-old found the organizational tips practical for college life and liked practicing social interactions in realistic scenarios. The instructor guidance kept things focused without being overwhelming.

The scenario activities and goal-driven discussions really engaged my 15-year-old and made self-advocacy feel doable. The pace—five lessons in one week—was intense but appropriate for motivated teens.

As a parent of a 16-year-old, I appreciated that the five 55-minute sessions over one week gave clear, practical strategies for communicating with campus staff and staying organized.
