My 9-year-old really enjoyed working through melodies by well-known composers and the targeted drills to improve technique. The focus on reading eighth notes and expanding notes to the 4th string made the lessons feel like a clear continuation from beginner material, and the 8-week span with weekly 30-minute lessons fit nicely into our schedule.

The course content is excellent — alternate picking and etudes are right on target for an 11-year-old — but the 30-minute, once-a-week format felt a bit brief; we'd have preferred slightly longer sessions or an extra weekly practice check-in.

Good pacing for this age range and the repertoire of melodies and etudes kept things interesting. Lessons are short but focused, and we noticed better musical reading and cleaner technique after a few weeks. Overall very pleased with the course content.

As a parent of an 8-year-old, I liked the steady 8-week structure and once-a-week rhythm. The emphasis on the Belwin Method and expanding note knowledge to the 4th string really kept her progressing.
