Valuable workshop for elementary essay writing; one lesson per week for four weeks was convenient, though an extra week for review would have been ideal.

Exceeded expectations — clear lesson flow across the four weeks, engaging small-group activities, and the individualized feedback helped my child assemble a complete, coherent essay by the end of the course.

My 10-year-old improved noticeably with paragraph structure and transitions thanks to the individualized feedback in the small-group format. I would have preferred a slightly slower pace, but it was a good experience.

This course does a solid job teaching close-reading techniques and emphasizes text-based evidence through workshop feedback, which my 14-year-old found very helpful. There was a lot to cover in 16 weeks with only one lesson per week, so the pacing felt intense at times. Overall we're satisfied—especially with the exam practice—but would welcome occasional shorter review sessions between lessons.
