This course gave a useful overview of verbal, quantitative, and nonverbal items and the picture-based examples were clear. However, with only one 45-minute lesson per week across three weeks my child needed more repetition to really retain the patterns.

Interesting material and creative projects, but some concepts felt advanced for the youngest participants and the single weekly 45-minute lesson didn't leave much time to practice between sessions.

Helpful intro for kids ages 5–8; the sample questions and guided practice make the CogAT item types less intimidating, although 45 minutes felt short for covering all three sections in depth.

Good balance of challenge and clarity, especially in the quantitative section, though the verbal items seemed a touch easier for our 8-year-old. The weekly pacing worked well but we might have preferred a couple more sessions.
