Hangeul Level 1a: Korean Alphabet, Reading and Basic Conversation

Overall a great introduction to Hangeul with clear reading and writing practice, and my 11-year-old enjoyed the cultural project. The only downside was that the course felt a bit fast-paced at times—an extra review session would have been helpful for a true beginner.

Hangeul Level 1a: Korean Alphabet, Reading and Basic Conversation

This fast-paced introductory course packed a lot into five weeks: my 14-year-old learned the 21 vowels and 19 consonants, how to form syllable blocks, and some basic conversation and pronunciation rules. The pronunciation drills and reading/writing practice were especially useful, and the mailed K-culture package made the hands-on projects fun and tangible. Two lessons per week felt manageable and kept my child engaged.
