As a guardian of a middle-schooler, I appreciated the comprehensive scope—from expressions and functions to square roots, probability and statistics—taught across the full curriculum. The pacing across 35 weeks with two short lessons per week prevented burnout while maintaining progress. My child stayed engaged with the variety of topics, and the differentiated instruction helped when certain units felt challenging.

This structured, 35-week program covered everything I wanted for my 11-year-old: integers, fractions, decimals, proportions, percent, exponents and basic proofs among other topics. The twice-weekly, 35-minute lessons kept a steady rhythm, and the blend of instruction and practice helped build confidence. The visual supports and differentiated approach made trickier subjects like inequalities and surface area more accessible.

Overall this course worked well for my 13-year-old — the mix of direct instruction, guided practice and independent work was effective and the 35-minute lessons twice a week fit our schedule. I would have liked an option for a slightly faster pace for students who pick things up quickly.

I'm the parent of an 12-year-old and the visual supports plus differentiated instruction in this year-long 7th grade math course made topics like ratios, equations and coordinate geometry much more approachable.
