Very impressed — clear instruction on clauses, punctuation, and sentence types in a supportive small-group setting. The 12-week length allowed steady progress without rushing.

We enrolled my 13-year-old because the course description covered planning, construction, workers, and consequences, which are all important topics. The structure — one 55-minute lesson each week for seven weeks — made it easy to fit into our routine and kept engagement steady. However, the material felt aimed at a general overview level and occasionally lacked the depth my child needed for school projects. It was useful for sparking interest, but families looking for in-depth analysis might find it too surface-level.

Overall a positive experience and good coverage of parts of speech and phrases. I did feel some weeks were denser than others, but the 40-minute lessons twice a week were manageable.

Content-wise the course is interesting and my 17-year-old enjoyed learning about who built the railroad and its impacts. That said, with only seven weeks and one 55-minute lesson per week some subjects felt a bit rushed. It worked as a good overview but left us wanting deeper discussion on a few points.
