We enrolled my 15-year-old but found the course too slow and not challenging enough for an older teen; one 60-minute lesson per week over eight weeks didn't give enough practice time. That said, the basic watercolor approaches and the chance to study Venice, Milan, Como and Florence were interesting.

As a parent of a 14-year-old, I liked that the course ran two times a week for nine weeks with manageable 55-minute lessons. They explored long exposure, light painting, multiple exposure and surrealism while building a thematic photo series, and by the end had a final portfolio to show the progress. The pacing felt right for experimental techniques and kept them engaged throughout.
