U.S. History: Reconstruction to Mid-20th Century (Part 4)

We enrolled our 10-year-old in this 10-week U.S. history course and appreciated the clear teacher-recorded videos and follow-up assignments that cover Reconstruction through World Wars I and II and mid-20th-century social movements. The content sparked good conversations at home and felt age-appropriate for an 8–12 year old. My only minor quibble is that the 55-minute lessons can feel a bit long some weeks, but overall it's a solid, engaging overview.

Virtual Natural History: Dinosaurs, Oceans, Ice Age & Rainforests

Really appreciated how the course guided my 10-year-old through dinosaurs, deep-ocean adaptations, Ice Age mammals (including the La Brea Tar Pits) and rainforest conservation — the variety kept them engaged for the full 50-minute live session each week across the five-week run. My only small wish was for a bit more time for questions or a short hands-on follow-up, but overall it was informative and age-appropriate.
