Creative Poetry Writing: Forms and Poets

The 12-week structure and weekly 45-minute lessons were ideal for building skills gradually. Templates for different forms made it easy for my teen to experiment and then revise their work.

Creative Poetry Writing: Forms and Poets

Great mix of analysis and creation; my child appreciated studying poets and then using that inspiration in the in-class writing time to craft original poems.

Creative Poetry Writing: Forms and Poets

Overall a strong course that helped my 16-year-old explore various poetry forms, but I would have liked either a slightly longer class or an extra weekly session to dig deeper into revisions.
