Nice short course for younger kids to get into cartooning; the weekly format and 60-minute lessons worked well for our schedule. The focus on holiday characters made it fun and motivating. After three weeks I could see my child trying similar techniques on their own drawings.

This course is a great intro to Dungeons & Dragons for beginners in the 13-18 age range. The structure of discussion followed by short play to apply the rules, along with the class PDF and pointers to character sheets and online resources, made concepts clear without being overwhelming. In five weeks there isn't a lot of time for extended practice, so it's best for families looking for a concise foundation rather than a deep campaign experience.

Unfortunately this felt too basic for my 10-year-old — the drawings were repetitive and he lost interest after the first week. With only three weeks and one lesson per week, it didn't challenge him enough.

My 6-year-old loved the step-by-step approach and couldn't wait for the weekly 60-minute drawing session featuring holiday characters like Santa and the snowman.
