I highly recommend this course for high school students interested in classics. Over six weeks my child worked through assigned books of Virgil's Aeneid and enjoyed analyzing characters, plot, and historical themes. The format of one 55-minute lesson per week made it easy to fit into our routine. Overall the guided text study felt thoughtful and engaging.

This was an excellent way for our 17-year-old to approach classical literature — the instructor background and guided discussions really brought the Aeneid to life during each 55-minute lesson.

The guided discussion format kept my teen engaged throughout the course. That said, some weeks felt a bit rushed given there is only one lesson per week.

We enrolled our 11-year-old to learn about Sumer through Persia and were pleased with the structure: thirteen weeks, one 50-minute lesson each week. The course consistently used primary and secondary sources, which encouraged careful thinking and better historical writing. The difficulty seemed well matched to the 11–13 age range, and I saw steady improvement in their analysis and written work.
