Muckrakers and Progressive Era Reforms

Engaging and thought-provoking; the focus on muckrakers and Progressive Era reforms led to great discussions at home and fit nicely into our weekly schedule.

Muckrakers and Progressive Era Reforms

Informative and important subject matter, especially about inequality and unsafe conditions, but some lessons felt fast for my 13-year-old. Still, the content was worthwhile.

Basics of Trigonometry: Angles, Unit Circle & Trig Functions

This course was exactly what we needed to introduce trigonometry. Over the 8 weeks, the combination of angle measurement, unit circle practice and exercises on sine, cosine and tangent really improved my child's confidence. The 55-minute weekly lessons fit our schedule and the graphing problems made the functions more concrete.

Muckrakers and Progressive Era Reforms

Very pleased — this course made the connection between exposés and social reform easy to understand for a 16-year-old. Recommended for teens interested in history and civic issues.
