Introductory Improv Comedy and Scene Work

This was a decent starter class for an 8-year-old who needed structured games to loosen up. The weekly, short lessons introduced useful skills but some weeks felt rushed and my child wanted more practice time between sessions.

Introductory Improv Comedy and Scene Work

Really enjoyed the focus on improv fundamentals and the small-group interaction suited my 11-year-old. My only minor gripe was that 25 minutes can feel short when kids get into a scene.

Introductory Improv Comedy and Scene Work

The course covers the basics—character creation, motivation, and spontaneous scenes—which my child found fun. However, with only one 25-minute lesson per week for five weeks, progress felt a little slow. I'd recommend it for a gentle intro but expect modest gains in that timeframe.

Introductory Improv Comedy and Scene Work

We saw genuine improvement in our 10-year-old's willingness to take creative risks, especially during scene work and 'yes, and' exercises. That said, the 25-minute sessions felt a bit short sometimes and he wanted more time to explore ideas within a class. The small-group setting was a strength, but after five weeks we wished the course ran longer or had an extra weekly session. Overall it was useful as an introduction but felt limited by the brief format and length.
