This was a solid introduction to creative writing — my 13-year-old liked exploring how to twist a familiar fairy tale and play with voice, but the single 55-minute session felt a bit short to fully develop a mini-story; a longer or multi-week option would have been nicer.

This one-week, 55-minute class was a perfect intro to epistolary writing for my 14-year-old. The guided prompts and worksheet helped them organize their thoughts and focus on reflection and descriptive detail while composing a letter to their future self. The pacing felt just right for the 12–17 age range and they finished the session proud of their piece.

Our 12-year-old had a blast in the Fairy Tale Remix workshop. The 55-minute lesson covered perspective, setting, character voice and endings in a way that really sparked creativity, and the one-week, one-lesson format fit neatly into our schedule.
