Great mix of comprehension and character-focused discussion for this age range. The 12-week, once-a-week structure and 50-minute duration made it easy to commit and my 14-year-old stayed interested throughout.

My 13-year-old looked forward to the weekly discussions; the combination of comprehension questions and vocabulary work really deepened their understanding of Book Six. The 50-minute format held their attention well and the character perspective exercises encouraged some great conversations at home. Good fit for kids in the 10–14 age range.

As a parent of a 10-year-old, I appreciated the balance of structure and creativity in this one-week class. Over the five lessons my child learned to craft plots with twists, play with settings and characters, and then make an illustrated original fairy tale. The pacing was appropriate for their age and they were proud to share their story at the end.

We enrolled our 10-year-old in the Harry Potter Book Club: Book Six Discussion and were impressed by the balance of reading, guided questions, and vocabulary instruction. The character perspective activities sparked thoughtful conversations and the optional drawing was a nice creative break. Eleven weeks felt like the right length to cover the book without rushing.
