Pre-Algebra Review: Prep for Algebra I

Challenging yet manageable — my 17-year-old liked the combination of short, focused 45-minute lessons and consistent homework review. The course reinforced problem-solving skills and made the transition toward Algebra I feel less intimidating.

Math Without Pressure: Fundamentals of Arithmetic

Solid arithmetic refresher for teenagers. The placement assessment helped start my 16-year-old in the right spot, and the practical examples made fractions and remainders easier to understand. Three 45-minute lessons per week over four weeks fit our schedule well and led to noticeable improvement in speed and accuracy with multiplication. Minor downside: I would have liked optional extra practice for students wanting an added challenge, otherwise very satisfied.

Pre-Algebra Review: Prep for Algebra I

As a parent of a 16-year-old, I appreciated the focused review of expressions, equations, inequalities, systems, and graphing. Meeting three times a week allowed consistent practice without overwhelming our schedule, and the habit of logging homework made progress clear each week. It's a practical prep course for students headed into Algebra I.

Pre-Algebra Review: Prep for Algebra I

Good pacing throughout the four-week course; the 45-minute lessons didn't feel rushed and covered slope and identifying y-intercepts thoroughly. My 13-year-old stayed engaged with the note-taking routine and practice problems. Would recommend for anyone prepping for Algebra I.
