Very pleased — concise, thought-provoking, and well-suited to teens. The single lesson format and 55-minute duration made it easy to fit into our schedule, and my teen came away more aware of how bias and media shape historical memory.

My 13-year-old found some of the source analysis challenging, but overall it was a good introduction to distinguishing myth from reality.

We signed up our 12-year-old for Phoebe and Her Unicorn — Volume 1 Book Club and it hit all the right notes: reading, discussion of visual storytelling, and hands-on creativity like designing unicorns and mini comic strips. Meeting once a week for three weeks made it easy to fit into our schedule, and the steady pacing kept him engaged without feeling rushed. He came away excited about the story and kept sharing ideas about friendship and character design. I would recommend this to families with kids ages 8–13 who enjoy graphic novels and creative projects.

Informative and age-appropriate for 13–17 year olds; the content on media influence was particularly relevant. I only wish there had been a second weekly session or follow-up to reinforce what was covered.
