Ancient History Writing (IEW Level B)

We signed my 11-year-old up for the 15-week Ancient History Writing course to build writing structure using IEW techniques. The mix of retelling narratives, summarizing references, and composing from pictures helped her organize notes and outlines, and the teacher edits plus chances to share work were useful. The pacing and once-a-week format felt appropriate for ages 11–16.

Beginner Rag Quilt: Plan, Cut, Sew, and Finish

We were disappointed by the pacing — my child felt rushed through some steps during the 55-minute sessions. That said, the demonstrations and the focus on basic techniques did provide a clear framework.
