Japanese Anime and Culture Club

Anime fans already know a few Japanese words; this club helps them learn many more. Each week explores one theme from anime and daily life in Japan, such as school, food or festivals, with useful phrases and culture notes.

Learners practise pronunciation, play vocabulary games and make a small project like a bento menu or a festival poster. It is relaxed, social and a great first step into Japanese.

How classes work

Each weekly session opens with a quick warm-up and a short new idea, then learners work on the session's challenge together while the teacher guides the group. Sessions end with time to share. New learners can join any week because each session stands on its own.

What we'll cover

• Session theme 1: Anime Phrases for Real Life – Learn the phrases fans hear most and how to use them politely.

• Session theme 2: Bento and Food Culture – Food vocabulary and design a labeled bento menu.

• Session theme 3: School Days – School vocabulary and customs seen in anime.

• Session theme 4: Festival Fun – Festival words, traditions and a group poster.

No experience needed. Learners need a device with a camera and microphone for live classes.
