1-on-1 AP Chinese Exam Coaching

This private course prepares learners for the AP Chinese exam step by step. After a diagnostic, the teacher focuses on the learner's weakest areas while practising every exam task.

Sessions include timed listening and reading practice, story narration, e-mail responses, conversation and the cultural presentation, each with detailed feedback. Learners build accuracy, speed and confidence for test day.

How classes work

Every session is private and paced to the learner. The teacher starts by checking where the learner is, adjusts the plan to their goals and gives detailed feedback in every class.

What we'll cover

• Session 1: Diagnostic and Plan – Complete a diagnostic across all four skills and set priorities for the course.

• Session 2: Listening Practice – Practise exam-style listening passages and learn note-taking strategies.

• Session 3: Reading Practice – Work through timed reading passages and the most common question types.

• Session 4: Story Narration – Write story narrations from picture prompts with feedback on structure and vocabulary.

• Session 5: E-mail Response – Practise timed e-mail replies with a clear, polite structure.

• Session 6: Conversation Task – Rehearse simulated conversations with fluent, complete answers.

• Session 7: Cultural Presentation – Prepare and deliver a cultural presentation on a Chinese cultural practice.

• Session 8: Full Practice and Review – Complete a timed practice exam and review strategies for test day.
